At Kenneth's Bookstore, we believe that what we read matters—because stories have the power to help shape who we are. We also believe it should be easy for readers, parents, teachers, anyone to find meaningful, high quality books for themselves and those they nurture and influence.
So, with great delight on July 5, 2025, we launched Kenneth's Bookstore, an online store filled with books that inspire, inform, entertain, engage, and captivate.
Our carefully curated collection includes:
- Board books for little ones
- Picture books that spark imagination and wonder
- Fiction books that expands our understanding
- Nonfiction books including exceptional biographies and memoirs
- Spanish-language books and bilingual books
Our tedious selection process includes sifting through thousands of titles and reading hundreds and hundreds of books. That's because at Kenneth’s Bookstore, we don’t just sell books. We champion stories that encourage creativity, boldness, empathy, and greatness. Stories that inspire and empower readers of all ages to dream big, speak up, be amazing and so much more!
You'll find books from both bestselling authors and emerging voices—many of whom became authors to create books that their own children could see themselves in. Our gifted writers and illustrators know the impact of words and images, just as we do.
Our founder, Shearl White, is a native Houstonian and our headquarters is in Houston, Texas. Therefore, commencing in Houston, as part of our Community Impact Initiative, we will partner with businesses, organizations and individuals to present schools with classroom libraries filled with inspiring reads.
